New books are 25% off, which basically consists of Romance and Romantic Suspense, a small selection of "Cozy/Romantic" Mysteries, YA, and of course Paranormal Romance. Store credit CANNOT be used on new books.

Upon request we can order almost any book, provided it's not out of print. We may even have what you're looking for, used, in stock on the shelves. Go to our Offline Book Search page for more on that.

We have thousands of used books by hundereds of authors. We're likely to have something of interest for almost everyone in your family. Please see our Genres Page for detailed info.

We trade books, we don’t buy them. We also accept donations. In either case, we reserve the right to decline books traded in and/or donated.

There are two ways Dog Eared Books can help you surprise and please someone:

• Gift Certificates
• Available locally in any amount.
• Expiration date is 1 year from date of purchase, but we're extremely flexible in this regard.
But really, what devoted reader can wait a year or more to use a Gift Certificate to a bookstore??
• Gift Sets
• A different and thoughtful gift idea for your friend(s) or loved one(s) who love to read.
• Contents vary and are assembled by genre.
• Gift Sets can be made upon request
• You chose the genre
• You chose the size (small $20 - medium $25 - large $30)
• We do the rest!

Please allow at least one week for us to assemble and package your Gift Set. We want to get it "just right" for you!

Pricing on the used books are 1/2 off the cover price. These books may be purchased with your credit on file. When using your credit, the first $5.00 of every transaction is required in cash, check, or charge with the remaining books you're purchasing to be deducted from your credit. Simply to keep the cats fed and lights on, you understand.

There are a few exceptions, however, to what can be purchased with your credit on file. These exceptions are, Cash only titles which means your credit on file CANNOT be used. These books have a hand-written sticker on them indicating they are "cash only."

You may pay for your total purchase in any of these methods: check, credit/debit card, or cash.
